I found a lamp and turned it on and then I just got real close. i got a shot I liked and then converted it to black and white and adusted the contrast and cropped it interstingly, I hope :D

Interesting capture - love the movement of the shade, and indeed the shading on the shade. I'm not sure I'd personally have included the text on the lamp - the sheer interpretability of words draws the eye, and for me lessens the concentration of attention on what I feel is truly interesting here, which is that ever-deepening shadow, and the rhythm of the holes in the shade. Genuinely intersting work though, thanks.
