Brilliant photo. Obviously underrated due to high artistic quality and low artistic intelligence of the broad votership. Keep up the interesting and inspiring work.

I love the how eerie this is... underrated imo, which isn't worth a thing, sadly ;)

Great comment.
What I've think you've done is combined two shots (at least): one of the dive, and one of the water after submersion. Good work.Message edited by author 2007-09-08 01:13:15.

Great energy but also meditativeness.

My only 10 in this challenge. I like the dry brush ink effect, the motion, and the metaphor. Very worthwhile submission.

I like this a lot.. I would place it in top 10 but I think the dpc mass disagree...

I love how the motion and blur stretch the legs...a leap into an alternate realm...wonderful shot.

I love the blur on the diver's legs. I love the smooth lines of the water, too. The contrasty conversion suits it nicely. Compositionally, I think a little bit of the dock in there to close off the bottom of the frame would have worked well. 7 from me.

Ok the blur thing, but a fine example. You have done well with the editing here and B&W works perfectly. Very creative.

everything blurry as opposed to say, just the diver. I don't like the butt coming at me

Wonderfully out of the box. I hope the voters of DPC spend a moment to look at this wonderful photo. Unfortunately it takes more than 3 seconds to fully appreciate this.

Sharpness is so overrated :-) I really do like this a lot. Great sense of movement. Do wish there was a little more space at the bottom.
