Congrats on your Posthumous Blue! I had given this a nine, and I'm really happy that it got the recognition it deserves, if not in the score, than with the P. Ribbon. :) AWEsome. The shot tells a great story.
a perfect, complete novel/poem/movie contained in one fragment. strangely dark, haunting. We identify with the dog instead of the man, who seems unknowable.
I like photos where you wonder what is being thought... I wonder what the dog is thinking? Technically not up there with the best in the category of expert post production, but an interesting composition, so the eye's have it!
the leaf out of focus in the foreground reminds me that i'm just an observer to this scene. i kind of like it. i just love the way the dog looks behind him and his face dark without any details.
