Branch caught in a spider web. Loved the appearance of it floating in the air. Thank god the leaf was there because it prevented me from heading straight into a big nasty spider web across the walking path.

Great photo, great score too. All the greens blend very well (the sharp greens on the branch along with the circular green blur in the background).
and as far as being on topic...this one is pure bokeh
I love it when photographers go walking and find things and then share them. This is marvelous, light is awesome. And congrats on a top 20 and a new entry in your top row - very well deserved!
Love the simple dangling little element. Seems like little dithering artifacts came into play (maybe because too much contrast?) Fix that and I think you would have been in top ten easily. This shot is a real grabber for attention because of the wonderful framing and the wonderful contrast between the light green and dark green in the background.
hey michelle .. this is totally excellent .. a beautiful, simple uncluttered design .. congratulations on a brilliant photograph and a great place in the challenge .. :)
Oh my word Michelle. Awesome picture. Many many congrats on the high finish. Totally deserved and it will be a pleasure to see this on your front page for some time to come
Very nice find for this challenge! I can just barely see those threads suspending the twig and the background is nicely complementary, light and dark in all the right places.
