Taken about an hour after sunset at the University of South Africa (UNISA). This is my favourite spot for taking night photos (Free Study 2007-06 was also taken here). I used a 3 stop graduated neutral density filter to balance the sky and the city lights. Taken at 18mm.
Basic editing legal. Made all adjustments in the RAW converter. Noise reduction. Resize, smart sharpen and save for web.

There doesn't seem to be much going on here. It looks a lot like a test shot. Night in the city is always beautiful, to translate that to a photograph requires a little bit more.
Nice shot - Like the tones - Nice clouds - I think cropping off all that uninteresting foreground would really make this a stronger image. Right up to the very base of the bride on the left.
