 For fill the frame I waited for nice outdoor lighting. Lined butcher's thread in a circle on a small cutting board and filled in with sea salt rocks and peppercorns. I avaided the YinYang appeal and went for a chef's point of view.

edit - rotate, crop, adjustment levels, minimal dodge/burn (I am afraid of that tool)
reduce and sharpen...
save as...

Seems a little OOF and noisy. There is a cool yin-yang feel to the photo though.
