i had a lot of fun with this picture. i took it in the car on the way home from a church brunch one day and i couldn't believe any of them turned out, i was just bored and taking shot after shot. when i went back and looked through them i was completely shocked.
the original was way to pink for me - like an annoying bright crayola marker pink - so that had to go. i changed the image to sepia and pasted it over the original image, set the opacity to 50% and merged the layers. after that all i really did was a little levels, some brightness/contrast(very little), and sharpened. i wish they were all this easy!
i hate naming pictures. i mean i really hate it. i love this shot and all i could come up with was a crappy name like 'a rose by any other name...' - gag. if anyone has any suggestions on how to expand my mind, let me know.
