I like your concept and the deer are fun to look at. The background is a bit distracting though.

Beautiful capture, the only thing that I may have changed is to crop out the grass up to the first terrace.

The life/death juxtaposition captures this challenge well and the pink bloosoms are a perfect touch of color. I look forward ro reading more about this shot.
