It is not at all clear to me what it the subject; if it is someone lying down smoking, the dark part of the face is too prominent for my taste

Here's the catch: the subject must not become a silhouette because of the backlighting.

I believe it's a person in the forground - but it would really have helped if it wasn't all black.
