I think this may be a little more of a shallow depth of field than an actually "blur photo", but I thought he was so cute, and it does have blurry elements in it, so I wanted to use it.
He was so engrossed in seeing if there was anything in that cup, he could have cared less that I was practically right on top of him.
Probably the most fascinating object he encountered all day. :) I see absolutely nothing wrong with classifying a shallow DOF image as a blur image. I think part of the point of accepting "blur" images is to realize that shots can work for other reasons than that the whole image is sharp.
