Congratulations. You might lose a lens, but you will gain a happy life. And that is indeed sacred. May your future be as green and lovely as the view you captured herein.
As far is sacred is concerned, I don't think you need to "worship" something for it to be sacred. As for myself, I don't worship nature but have a very deep respect for it. Thanks for all of the comments. :)
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Congratulations!!! Feels good huh?? hehe This is a fantastic photograph and I believe you should submit it to DPC prints :)
Since all my photo equipment was stolen and I am camera-less, I will spend time now voting...

During a 'Religion' challenge, I tried a photo entitled 'Mother Nature'. It didn't go over so well. But I totally agree with you - Mother Nature IS sacred: excellent photo too! 10
Spectacular photo. I'd give it a ten for sure if the assigned theme was more evident in the photo. As it is, it's still one hell of a picture - real poster quality. I'm going to have a hard time scoring this one because the picture is a clear ten, but I want to see a clearer link to the challenge. You'll probably get a ten out of me anyway. Nice job.
You have a nice shot here. IMHO, the sky is a bit too prominent (there isn't much interest at the very top) so cropping down a little would make this a better shot. Also, shooting this with a polarizer might have made the colors more vivid and the sky bluer (depending on the position of the sun at the time you shot this)
Well done! I really like the few landscape shots on dpc which are not photoshoped until they look as from another planet! Your choice to put the horizont and the river in the middle makes a really balanced picture. 10
