The vibrant colors of the intricate designs really make the subjects pop out of the shot. The setup of the cup and saucer and their circular shapes really make it interesting composition.
Because this shot is so perfect from the standpoint of lighting, color, focus, I am rating it fairly high. However, for me, the composition is definitely lacking. With this subject, there are just so many ways to have a dynamic, interesting and unexpected composition that this plain, dead center, head on composition leaves me disappointed.
nice and simple. good placement of the subject, i like the white space. the lighting is nice and even except for a touch of overexposure on the top inside rim.
It's a nice cup. It's a nice saucer. Apart from the highlight at the top middle of the rim, It's a nice capture of the nice cup and nice saucer. Sorry - as a photo, it's a bit dull for me. 3
