An absolutely beautiful day in NYC. Dry, sunny, and cool -- our first hint of coming autumn weather. I ended the afternoon sitting outdoors with a library book and a cup of coffee in a neighborhood public space. All summer I've been saying it's too hot to work on my apartment; now it is too nice to be indoors!
Today's bright sun was really glaring off this parked motorcycle, throwing off my camera's automated exposure meter. It gave me an opportunity to practice using manual controls.
I'm not sure what is reflected in the chrome, but (despite appearances) it is not my arm. I was actually seated some distance away.
I love motorcycles! More importantly, I love your shot of this motorcycle :-) I love the black background and all the shiny white and orange lights; best of all are the blue reflections in the bike... You've done it proud! Moreover, this shot takes me back to my younger days listening to Steppenwolf 'Born to be Wild'... Just LOVE it !!!
