Wendy - what a good start to the new year :- )

I thought I'd commented on this, but I guess not. You have pefectly captured so many themes that resonate with me: kids, dreams, flying, a warm summer day lying outside ... I also happen to love pure silhouettes. And you nailed the composition. So I have nothing to say but congrats and you now have a new fave. :)

This is just perfect. I'd love to know how you didn't totally blow it out shooting into the sun like that. Love the angle as well.

Original, day-dreamer photo..well done. Love the big toe, light halo around the plane and the total concept. A ribbon for sure.

Very nice. Evocative. Inspiring.

I like this photo I wish the plane was tilted a bit to show more of the wings.

This would make a great velvet tapestry! Great job!

This is phenomonal. I love the silohuette of the plan and the profile of the boy. I love hte composition (including the tilt). Two small things I would tweak. I wish the sky either had a little more color in it or was a true black and white. Here is just seems almost brown. Also, I wish that the other foot of the boy was showing, at least a little bit. Still such a cool shot that I gave it a 9.

I've come back to this shot x2 now and it continues to grow on me. Beautiful image really - great detail for a silhouette. Bumping up to 8.

Should have had the child turn the plane so that the wings show more, like it's taking off.

very nice composition and creative idea!

This is wonderful. Love the contre jour. The silhouette is tack sharp and I like that you have it cropped so that we can see the blades of grass, and it has a slight diagonal line. Well done. Bumping up.

ahhh that is so sweet :) I like the way he holds the plane in front of the sun.
