If the cornfield is the point of interest it needs to be either closer or clearer.

I like the scenerey. I miss Pennsylvania. It was a wonderful place to vacation. I find the blurred foliage at the bottom of your image a little distracting. For me, this would have greater impact if the sky wasn't washed out.

Given how overcast the sky was, you might have done better composing to minimise it in the frame. Some foreground interest would definitely benefit the composition.
