I had an idea in my head, (not much else in there) so asked Peter to take me for a drive to the Glasshouse Mountains, which is a half hour drive from our home, and very rural.
The mountains were at there best, as the top half is all rock, so thats how they got there name, as they sometimes looks like glass.
Peter stopped the car and said, "here is your photo".
I looked sideways and said YES, thats it.
It was jusr freshly ploughed ground, and the soil is THIS color, for real. Very volcanic rich red/orange soil, due to the old mountains, as they were once volcanos, but now extinct.
I loved the differant colored layers in this rural scene in this image, so hense the title of my image is called, "Colors of Australia".
I stuffed up this time thats for sure, and entered an image way to saturated. Please blame it on my eyesight.
I am embarassed, and hope NEVER do this again.....
I have learned a valuable lesson here, as it was such a wonderful place to photograph.
Thanks for your constructive comments.

Poor Shez. . .I wonder if people think this is slightly over-processed (tee hee. . .I just read thru the bajillion brutal opinions in that regard) Sorry you got beat up on this one. It's a lovely place!!!
way overprocessed, too much use of shadows/highlights (probably), sharperning and noise rduction has created distracting halos, pixelated grass and oversoft trees.
This is a good shot however it looks over processed...It's hard to make out some of the detail... I'm curious to see what the original shot looks like.
Wow...what did you do to your picture damn? It looks like you used photoshop way to much on the shadows and highlights you also over did the colors and if you sharpened it unsharpen it. At the same time I have to say its unique to the style of old postcard look I don't know I am confused on what to tell you. If your aim is for old style post cards that are supposed to look fake you hit it just right.
