 Originally took this in B&W but then tried my best to change the colour of the entire image to be the same as the hay in the FG.

Wonderful sepia tones. Gives me that old time 1930's feel. Good composition with the haybale and I like your border as well. Good luck in the challenge.

I like the monochromatic approach. I would level this.

I like the idea, but to me, the hay bail just sort of blends right into the ground. Might have worked if the color was there to create a contrast. Nice photo though.
