Photo of "Large Figures" on the Princeton University campus.
My first experience with Neat Image. I have to say, I'm a fan.
I walk by these sculptures frequently, and have been meaning to try photographing them for a while now. This challenge was the perfect motivation to finally do so. I hope there's enough going on photographically to make up for the fact that the subject is someone else's traditional art.
Nothing too fancy in post processing. I used the Camera RAW editing thingy in ps(cs2) to adjust the exposure, shadows, contrast, saturation, etc., and added a little vignetting. Then resized, sharpened, and ran it through neat image before playing around with the brightness/contrast, hue/sat, and levels. Then resized again, USM, selected the sky applied a gaussian blur to just the sky. Then one more round of brightness/contrast before saving for web.
