Been meaning to comment on this for a while. I thought this was just an awesome shot - quite tasty looking. The lighting is perfect - I need to learn how to do this. Congrats on the ribbon!

It's funny how your best and worst rated shots both have buns in them....;-)

Great detail. Nice close up. A little crop off the top would have made it perfect for me. 9

Dying for one now!! Looks scrumptous ...

Excellent work! Perfect for an add. ~10

this one is nice....ok the good points are that the food appears fresh and looks like its styled a bit (thats nice). what could have been improved is (my 2 cents worth) is the composition. i would prefered the sandwich to fill frame in the landscape orientation. anyways a good shot!
Post actions
Why can't I get a burger that looks that good.
Post actions
Great Pic! Captures the real meaning of "Fast Food" I like the DOF, and water droplets on the tomato and lettuce! 10 :)
Post actions
Good if not great lighting. Nice job and now I'm hungry.
Post actions
this is one of the more appetizing shots... plus is that an American flag behind it? Nicely done shot.
Post actions
Best burger in the challenge by far!

Great job! This could be an ad!!

Now, THIS COULD be on an advertisement! Nice crop, nice closeup! LOVE IT!!! CONGRATS! Bet you're getting some great scores!

Way to fill the frame! I like the water detail, light reflection, and use of the cheese angle. This is a very tasty picture.

cool picture--maybe a little more flag

If only it would look that good in reality :) very well exposed. the water drops break the otherwise even surface of the tomato

Post actions
excellent job - a very pro feel to this

would be perfect if you could see the bottom bun 6
Post actions
beautiful colors and detail capture
Post actions
Well thought out, good moisture on the tomato and good looking lettuse, cheese is melted just enough, and you even paid attention to the BG. Good job at presenting an ad, 8

Mmm - appetizing and American. =D Nice lighting, fresh-looking veggies. Maybe a bit close up, but generally well done. 7.
Post actions
My favorite burger picture so far. It's nicely focused with the front of the burger getting the focus it needs and the bg blurred. The water drops make it look very fresh and the lighting highlighting the top and filling in the side works well.
Post actions
This is a great product shot...the moisture on the lettuce and tomato add a very nice touch. Well done.

Perfect fit and photo for theme. 10

Wonderful colors, focus and detail. Looks good enough to eat! Well done.

Nicely exposed - nice gleam of water on the tomato and lettuce. I;d buy it.
Post actions
Nice capture...might have matched the title better if the flag wasn't so blurry. Just nitpicking there.
Post actions
Oh man! Looks like a poster ad. I have to admit, I was afraid there would be no way to make a photo of fast food interesting or unique. It just goes to show you CAN take a rather boring subject and photograph it to perfection and make it awesome! This is really perfect. 10
Post actions
now this one is really getting close to an actual advert

This is almost the only burger in this challenge that looks good enough to eat.

Nice crisp image. Can almost smell it. 7 psart
Post actions
Very nice closeup. Good lighting and it even looks tasty. I like it.
Post actions
Nice twist on the background to reflect the american flag, excellent macro!
Post actions
I can't say it's appetising, but you've done well with the colours here. Maybe a polariser or bounced lighting to dampen those highlights?
Post actions
good detail, crop and color, looks tasty. well done.

Perfect looking hamburger for any menu! Nice job.
Post actions
Nice crisp details, and I like the American Flag in the background. That's SO what American is all about. Yummy greasy fattening food.
Post actions
food is tough to shoot! I like the simplicity of your shot. Well layed out, good colors, light.
Post actions
very nice macro with a good BG
