Wake up at 3:45 am and head out to a state park to catch the sunrise. Had used Google to check out satellite maps and had scoped out the perfect location the day before.
Hike through the dark getting eaten alive by mosquitoe and dodging crazy deer bursting out of the brush. Finally get to where I want to be and start snapping 20 second exposures of a gorgeous sunrise coming up over fog shrouded hills.
Get back in my Jeep and start heading home around 6am. Nature's show is pretty much over when I pass the scene in this shot. Roll window down, stick camera out window - click.
Best shot of the morning and I didn't even leave my car lol.

lol I can relate to that situation. So much so that I take snapshots at the end of a shoot to see what may come up.
Great shot you captured. It was a by-product of your effort, though not your goal, which ended up being a superb image.
