I know...been there done that. but i was really tired and this was the closest location. I knew from when i saw this challenge i wanted to do some kind of handstand/gymnastics. I wanted to do it down by the waterfalls with water and green for a background but the waterfalls are much further away and I was running out of time today.
This was actually VERY difficult to pose because all of the rocks were fairly unstable and the rocks in the water really hurt my feet and getting the force I needed to get into the handstand made it worse. After about 20 tries my feet kind of went numb and it was easier to get the power. I am a little annoid with this pose because it doesn't feel balanced to me. I couldn't get a shot where my body weight was distributed in a way that looked solid because I was never able to put myself in a position like that due to the lack of power and not being able to see each frame and change it up accordingly. This was the most balanced of them all. Thanks to brit for pressing the shutter for me, saving me a million painful trips from the camera to the rocks.

Very nice - great tones. A great idea well executed. The exposure on the sun & clouds is perfect. The silhouette & shadow of our subject is really pleasing in this composition. << 10 >>
a really great photo. the only thing is that the upside down part seems to be a side point almost, it's such a small part of the image. i still like it though.
