I like this well thought out shot, very simple, yet intriguing. Two issues take away from your submission IMHO, the green spot -lens flare, and the checkered pattern in your sky, both could easily be removed in PP and quite legal to do so. Still a 7 for composition.

I wouldn't call this a shadow, but rather a silhouette. I would have really liked to see the lens flare removed but I'm not sure if that would have been legal or not.
