the sacra couer effect from the blowout might have been dealt with, I think...Maybe light through caus from above... The halo effect is quite good on the cross, .perhaps you could have masked the areas of your lighting equipment so they did not hit the metallic statue as harshly as it did. Don't know for sure. Very nice effort and good detail on the statue and cross.
I like this subjectively... I also think, that due to the shape of the cross and the subject, that a vertical composition would work better than a square possibly. Nice work with the light :)
I don't know if the actual halo was intended or not but it's perfect. There are some blown out highlights on the chest that could have been taken care of with some dodging but otherwise it's a fantastic photo.
