This was taken with the camera upside down. We were 4 meters (12 feet) in the air on the second floor of a building under construction. Kita was balanced 1 meter (3 foot) from the edge of the building. She was more scared of climbing the ladder up to the second storey then she was to do the handstand up there!!! Go figure.
The metal framing is actually the roof frame of the building. I used manual settings due to the awkward pose from both of us.
I took this under the original challenge details.

Picture is great - very impressive. My brother was as cool about danger as she is - Me, I wouldn't go near the edge without a safety harness and a parachute, never mind handstanding - such is life. Hope she doesn't take it up for a living. Future venues for her could include the Grand Canyon?
I am amazed she has the strength to do that - must be very slim and light. Me - I cracked a rib leaning over the back of a couch - but I weigh about 225 pounds, so no shock there!
You have inspired me to diet - so well done with the first picture in your motivational photo series, and the best for future photos!
Awesome shot Judi! Love this. I skipped voting on this one because I thought it was a stupid challenge but looking at this makes me think I missed out...

i like the pic...... but the idea is stolen ... have seen it 2 years ago.... in a gallery in germany.... sorry...
Really??? Funny that...I must remember not to go anywhere in case there are already ideas out there.
Considering I have never been out of Australia...I doubt I could have 'STOLEN' it!!!
How about an apology now...! You were quite willing to accuse me in front of everyone...now that you know you were false in your accusations...you should also aplogize in front of everyone.
Language barriers or not....what you wrote was wrong...!

Well it seems that your account has now been de-activated. Hmmmm!! Isn't that interesting?
Congratulations! A great shot--especially under the circumstances. You truly followed the guidelines, too. With regard to the criticism that you "stole" the idea, I would remind us that if every composition idea had to be original, few could enter anything!
Wonderful shot, congrats on the well deserved yellow ribbon.
Congratulations to Kita as well, for putting up with mum's crazy photo ideas.
Hahahaha...were you listening to her that day??? Mind you...she was more scared of climbing the ladder up to the second storey then she was to do the handstand up there!!! Go figure.
This is the perfect interperation as I read it before the description change/modification.
