wonderful lighting on the face but I really notice the burned out sections on the background next to the face

Beautiful lighting. She does look a bit like the Mona Lisa. I can see a bit of mischief in there too.

While Ia m sure that some people will love the lighting, others will not. I personnaly like the lighting, but I don't like the pose. I don't like how the eyse strain to meet the camera the way they do. It causes her left eye to be eclipsed and that isn't what I like to see.

Still a nice phot that a little head twist and eye straightening could really help.
