This is certainly a different interpretation of "balance" from the usual scales that Libra is supposed to stand for. It's a nice closeup, but the point of sharpest focus seems to be the branch, rather than the grasshopper's head.
Too small, seems to be out of focus (though hard to tell at this size). Not sure how it relates to Libra - that's about balance between two items or concepts or decisions or contrasts or personalities... rather than being able to stay upright!
Too small, out of focus, and a pretty good stretch to meet the challenge. It is a very interesting subject and could be a great shot though. Practice with the macro setting on your camera and try it again.
Too bad about the photo being so small. I think it has potential, but its difficult to tell. The katydid also seems too centered in the photo. I might have tried cropping it to one side or the other.
