Thunder storm at sea, offshore in the Gulf of Mexico. I was at the helm late at night and just hand held some 6 second shots of the storms on the horizon. Almost all of the light was from the lightning bolts, so as soon as a bolt
struck, I would cover the lens with my hand for the rest of the exposure. zoom at 55 mm.
