Taken at Wakestock, the worlds largest wakeboard event.
post processing was just crop, levels, unsharp mask.
Post challenge:
Wow. I finally made it to ribbon territory! It feels good. :)
thanks for everyone's kind words and nice votes. And looking at the 1st and 2nd place finishers.... I do not mind being behind those ones at all. they deserve the first and second place ribbons.

Congrats on the ribbon! I don't actually like the tight crop (you know that :-P), but hey... it worked for DPC, right?
Have you ever checked out Wheels and Wax? There isnt a better resource on the web for action sports photography. You know the masses at DPC like your wake stuff, why not see what the photo editors and pro wake photogs think of it?
This is totally awesome motion shot, and so deserves a ribbon. \You have made it, and I am so very pleased for you getting his much deserved yellow ribbon.
Great capture. I wish I was able to snap clear action shots like this one. I just said to my wife, just before voting was over that this one would win. I am surprised that it didn't. Congrats fellow first ribbon winner!!
This would be a 10 if it matched the lyric, which it doesn't. Does anybody actually pay attention?
Great action shot!! 7
Hmmm. actually it was released as a single on June 1 1968 in the USA and was #1 on the charts for 11 weeks. :) (although it was not on an album until 1969 "Through the Past, Darkly"
