My basic lighting set up has been the same for sometime....I have an old computer desk with a set of book shelves on the back part. A piece of black velvet covers the shelves. At the top of the shooting area is a piece of white poster board. The white for reflective purposed, the board also is used to clamp two of the lights. Each of the upper lights has a 100w halogen bulb and the lights are positioned along the edge of the poster as necessary for the subject. Mostly they are hung front left and right with the light pointing down too the subject. The other two lamps are on the bottom of the shooting area and are clamped to the sides of the desktop. They are moved forward and back and are mostly pointed up to the poster board or are pointed to the subject again depending on the subject. The bottom lamps each have a 120w halogen flood bulb. I also use, from time to time a reflector in front for the bottom of the shot.
Absolutely stunning! Everything is spot on! Colors...light...focus...exposure. Awesome job! Would love to know how you set up your shots for the lighting.
