I really enjoy your location, I love the feel of it. The light on the floor, for me is a distraction, you see that bright spot on the kickboard on the bottom of the wall, I think if the light on the floor and kickboard wasn't so overblown it would have scored much higher. There is also a bit on the top right corner that is a distraction.
I think the picture would have worked even better without the perfectly posed knife. The knife makes the picture a bit trite. Despair is conveyed aptly though the man's posture and the construction of the room (crumbling as it is). Just a thought! I definitely like the picture though - great setting.
Now this is right for the challenge, great picture, you really made it look very real, a huge impact. Colors and lighting are great, you recieve one of my tens. 10.
This really does feel like despair! Nicely done and scary, too. You've conveyed the idea that despair can lead to anything, such as self-harm or harming another person or thing. Well executed in my opinion. 10
