Without the caption it doesn't meet the challenge...no extreme emotion being portrayed. Just a nice parrot shot.

The face is a major element conveying emotion, contrary to the challenge's title and guidelines.

Not sure I see extreme emotion or a faceless subject. Sure a pretty bird in the foreground, however.

Brilliant colors and great focus, though I don't really feel as though this meets the challenge as well as some others. Still a lovely photo though!

Birds don't seem to have emotion to me...but I don't have one for a pet so maybe that's why.

I also have one. They have such a wonderful nature. Nice and crisp capture.

Not faceless, not extreme...

Nice photo. Greate detail in feathers. Good use of DOF. Doesn't meet challenge very well, though, since it isn't a faceless shot.

Nothing about this photograph speaks about "emotion" except the title.

Incredibly beautiful colors in this image. Not feeling the emotion in it but gave it above average score nonetheless.

Nice pet portrait but the emotion on the left that i do see - I also see a face....

parrots have faces, and for a faceless challenge there are three of them. As is well, I do not gather strong emotion either. For me, they are just a couple of birds bein birds.

This is a lovely photo of the parrots, especially with the three as a great composition, but I feel it's a shoehorn for the challenge.

Gorgeous birds and colors!! Nice DOF and detail.

A nice shot, but NOT for this challenge.

I'm not getting any emotion from the image. Furthermore, the main subject is the bird in focus, which clearly shows its face. Aside from this challenge, though, it's a nice image.

Sorry, these are beautiful birds and a beautiful shot but I don't see any "fight" or get any emotion and it is mostly faces, so DNMC.
