Inspired on a Gaston Lagaffe (the belgian cartoon character) original idea:
=======================================
Officer: You can't park here!
Gaston: Why not?
Officer: Because of the "NO PARKING" sign!
Gaston: What sign?!
Officer: That one, or do you think that's a Giant Lollipop?!?!?
(Everybody laughs because someone has desguised the road sign as a giant Lollipop...)
The chosen location wasn't the best: there is a power line pole right in the middle of the photo. Did my best to hide it. Would be really easy to do it with bit of cloning... ah... the rules.
Not very hard to do in fact it was rather fun. Used a road sign on a closed road. Covered with celophane and added a ribbon. Lots of help from my wife Cristina. (Obrigado mamã!)
Tried 117 different takes, even some with Ana Rita, my 4-year old daugther trying to climb the lollipop but this one turned out the best.
After that just the usual adjustments:
Rotate to get the road sign PERFECTLY vertical
Crop to get a vertical shape with the sign in the middle of the photo
Color Balance adjustments: was a bit yellowish, no blue skies
Brightness and contrast: was a bit dark and dull
USM and Edge preserving Smooth: routine, didn't needed it
Resized and added a white border.
Hope it looks tasty!

Very interesting, but why is this sign with no lettering here? The photo is quite pretty, and it is a good example of how breaking the rule against centering the subject can be effective.
