I like the B&W treatment you gave this image. The rythm of it is not as strong as other pictures in the challenge.

Gosh, that rock really does look like a big cat howling, perhaps in grief - the title is spot on. It is ne tiny detail that lets this down for me, and that is the indentation in the sand 2/5ths of the way up on the right hand side. Tiny, but distracting.
