 A rhythmic set of tiles at my front door as featured in my very first challenge. Somebody said to me that it had rhythm way back then. Hope it does.

This shows a very nice pattern and rhythm but it looks too much like a snapshot.

Unless the tilt is intentional, this should be straightened so the horizontal lines are parallel with the top/bottom of the photo.

Almost looks like a quilt pattern. Good rhythm with a bit of a minor chord due to the askewness.

a few things I don't understand: your cropping (cutting off one corner of the square, but leaving a lot of space on the left side), the angle of your picture (the borders are not parallel to anything), choice of DOF (the front part is out of focus), lighting (there is light on one corner of the square highlighting this corner which is out of focus). This object IMHO screams for a perfectly centered composition, evenly focused and lit.

The lighting seems a bit unbalanced, bright in the lower frame and dark in the upper part.
