This is Shana, my core exercise instructor, and she is training for a triathlon. I met her this morning at Deep Eddy pool to take some photos while she trained. Looking at her here it's hard to believe that this photo was taken right after she had finished swimming a mile.
I should mention that Deep Eddy is an Austin landmark that's been around for about 70 years. It uses no chemicals as they cycle water from the Colorado river. Many people swim laps here and there is a huge section where children and non-lappers play.
That's a great candid photo. I admire her for wanting to get out and train for a triathalon. That is also very cool info about the pool. It's awesome that no chemicals are used there.
She looks relaxed in that way one does after a good round of exercise. That's neat that she let you photograph her training. Pretty lady, good composition.
awhhhhhhhhh... i LOVE Deep Eddy! i only got three laps in yesterday before the clash of thunder created the obligatory emptying of the pool. nice shot, the light is really great.
Great job with the water. I like the water droplets on her, and she's got such a happy expression for being a triathlete... as I suspect I'd be grumpy.
