Folks: CHECK THE DATE AND TIME ON YOUR CAMERA. ESPECIALLY THE YEAR!!!
I shot close to two hundred of these to get the lighting right and one without a glare, bubble, smudge, etc. I could have done it with a lot fewer shots if it wasn't basic editing.
POST CHALLENGE:
Whoah!! My first blue! I can't believe it did this well. Thanks for all the great comments.

Sorry to hear that, I did the same thing earlier this year on the only 7+ image I have had, I checked the date right after the first of the year and actually set the year wrong when I set it, really sucks but still a well done shot!
Thank you. And I want to personally thank you for the inspiration. You should be posting on this site.

I am curious about this... any ideas or thoughts?
I don't know what to make of it.
That was not me. I did shamelessly use it as something to shoot for, though. He said it is not his original, either. It is not me, if that is what you are thinking.

Oh, I see the differences between the two... different wine glasses and the bottle is slightly different. Excellent reproduction (is that the word you'd use?) of a fine image.

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh, so sorry to hear that! but you know what? it does take away from the beauty of the image! and know you have a war story to tell all us newbees.
i am particularly happy for your ribbon for two reasons. the first is that is a great photograph and i have rated 10 on this. the second is because this was the image that i went build for the contest but I don't had the photographic skill for this. congrats!!!
