This shot was taken at the Phoenix Zoo during an Arizona DPC outing. Used a Canon 400mm lens, handheld.

Resize, Clone out a white spot in the eye, adjust levels (255 to 243), Color Balance (+10 red midtones, +5 red highlights), Selective Color (Reds: Cyan - +10, Magenta +5, Yellow +3, Black +1), USM (Amount = 170, Radius 1.5, Threshold 3).

Nice. There was actually a feature on flamingoes in NG 30 years ago with a similar picture ... so you are in the right track. I wish for a more vivid coloration though ... so perhaps added saturation (?) might enhance this already excellent picture.
This came out great. I can see so much detail in the feathers and then there’s the graceful S shape that looks very NG. I'm sure this is doing well. Congratulations. 10
