You have the basis of a super portrait here, but I suspectthat you got the exposure wrong in-camera. The tell tale processing signs, in particular the halo, are too visible.
Nice idea. However, if I'm not mistaken, you used the blur and masked around the outside (If not, my mistake) and you left yourself a halo around the lady which I can see, and I think others will too. Perhaps next time you should use the select tool and select the area you want to blur so you don't need to mask it out, and then it MAY leave less of a halo. Or you could go in a little closer if you had the time and patience to do it bit by bit. I would have also dodged the darker portions of the right side a bit more to bring out some detail. Otherwise, nice shot. 6
