This is an excellent image, but the border really is too much. I see this frequently on DPChallenge though and I'm slowly learning to deal with it. A border should NEVER compete for attention with what's inside it.
Fantastic, I love the lighting, the subject matter the background blur and the colors. I can almost hear Bob Marley himself jammin off in the distance...it gets one of my (rare) 10's.
I love the look of laid back bemusement on the child's face - it's a shame the Dad doesn't look a little happier. The light seems very harsh, and the colour caste is not very flattering.
