THe photo is very nice, but not 'GREAT'. it is lacking the emotion that the title portrays as 'link to the past'. Yes it is old, but even a person standing in front as a silhouette may have envoked a bit more powerful emotion. The texture on the walls is great and the lines throughout are nice too. Overall, it is very good image quality too.
Great colours and texture. I hate these black borders, but the occasional image such as this can pull it off without annoying me too much. This image would be helped a lot to have a subject - some point of interest for the viewers eye to rest on, instead of wandering aimlessly around the empty scene.
