Masked a link in the chain with black electrical tape. Took the picture and tried to have the links immediately left and right of the masked linked as horizontal as possible to appear two dimensional.
Post: Convert from raw in PSElements 3.0. Layer adjustments for levels and brightness/contrast. Merged. Did a layer mask around the entire change accept the taped one. Set black point on the taped link. The link entirely disappeared except for a few scraps of pixels that were cloned out. Did not clone on any of the remaining chain. Layer adjustment for hue/saturation converting to grayscale and another layer of levels and brightness/contrast. Sharpen. Crop. Resize. Sharpen.
