It took me a little while to work out the missing link - the sea - but once I did, it is so darned obvious! I like the composition, and,unusually for me, the tilted horizon, I do feel that it could have done with just a bit more punch to match the jaunty framing.
I kinda like the diagonal shot.. I would have liked the lighting to be better though for an excellent shot but, imo you get great marks for composition.
Nice composition, but I'm not sure what the missing link is here. Maybe the water since it's low tide? A little less brightness, especially in the sky, would be nice. I'm not voting in this challenge, so no deductions here.
Splendid shot for the challenge. The water being the missing link to the ocean, very clever ;)
Only nitpick is the color of the sky, looks too purplish. Some selective color tweaking or hue/sat adjustments for the blue/cyans could easily fix that.
