Perhaps you could have forgotten to sharpen? I like the high contrast but I question the shadow falling across the back of the larger bird.

Lighting seems a little off, as each swan is remarkably different from the others

The shadow on the big swan is distracting. More even lighting and better focus would improve this image.

The raking light brings out the wrinkles in the paper. Were you really trying to emphasise that? Perhaps more front-on lighting would give a better look for this image.

I like the idea but feel the lighting could have been a little better.

A good idea for this challenge and it looks like your lighting is pretty good but the image is not in focus.

the focus is off, image is a bit to dark, and I wouldn't have left the paper so wrinkly at the nice of the largest swan, maybe cloned or dodged it away as best as possible. it also seems cropped a bit to close to the edges. cool stuff though!

out of focus and not enough light. Other then that i would have loved this photo.
