Great contrast and color, face is a little too dark, background is a little to light, but mostly it would have been nice to see more of mountain tops

if he had lost the hat there would be more of him which would be better to look at, feel he is shadowed with the hat.

I like this. It is simple and there is a good conection with the viewer through his eyes. His outfit and his necklace are different and coupled with the setting make me think there is a story behind this which is always a good thing. Some room for improvement: His hat could have been pushed up a bit, I hate in photos when things are really close to people's eyes. Also he seems a bit dark.
