quirky composition with the inexplicable black square that serves to highlight the little petal. This photo really appeals to me. I gave it an 8.

is the flower petal from a white flower it needs some detail otherwise a 10

The flower girl is quite well done. I find the black thing on the right of the picture quite distracting and adds nothing to the picture. Cropping it out would help. You also cut her hair off.

I'm not crazy about that big black block on the right hand side, but I think the little girl is very precious. I like how her hand is open and you caught what appears to be a petal in mid-air.
