I'm saddened to report today my discovery of this, the darker side of Peep behavior. These cute little guys with their happy ears and twitchy noses were caught participating in this unwholesome late night photographic session, posing images that would make the Easter Bunny blush.
Fortunately the camera had no film.
But this surprising behavior will be forever etched in my memory. I don't know if I'll ever be able to shoot another Peep. :(
Of course I'll always be able to eat them...

Later note added. The camera in this shot is a tiny folding bellows camera called the "Pocket Miniature Ensignette Folding Camera" and is from the early 1900's. It's a cool little item, actually my favorite from my collection. Read about it here Ensignette (the collection in this link is not mine. My collection is much less organized.)
