This week is International Conformity Week after all.
So what to show? In this season, the sun's existence becomes a debatable question in Geneva Switzerland, so I won't even start thinking of sunsets. To bad, these have been a very hot and popular topic lately. Birds also I notice! Swans? Yes why not! Lazy choice? Oh yes, very lazy!
Hope you enjoy anyway.
PS: Sorry for the typo...

Very nice.
I think the overall black/grey look did not help you much.
It gave me a feeling that the shot was done in a zoo or etc.
A more natural setting/colors would have really boosted your shot I think?
Your work is becoming instantly recognisable M. Beguin. No bad thing, either. Reflections bottom frame are fabulous, the parallel poses of the swans add balance, just sufficiently disturbed by their not being mirror images of one another, quite. There's an odd effect given by the upper-two-thirds composition, similar to your point of view shot, where the lower part of frame, those reflections, almost seem to belong ot another image entirely.
A radio produceer I know once told me that you should always try to have at least two things going on in anything you produce ... this is just more proof of that, I suppose.
PS. This better had be a JJ photo, after all that :-)
The swans are graceful and nicely captured, but my favorite part of the photo is the patterns in the water in the foreground! The way you have composed the picture tells me you like them too.
Pier. Couldn't resist. The water in front looks really funky in a pleasant sort of way. SO much so, I find myself studying it more than the swans. What an opportunity for a cool abstract! Seems they are more in focus that the swans.
Beautiful animals. The picture is pretty well taken. I'm really lost though as to why this is framed this way. the negative space at the bottom is not leading me to the swans, but instead it leads me to "comment on this photograph" which is not conducive to this photo, especially since the upper part is really nice. Maybe you have succeeded in making me comment on this photo, but a stunning picture would've done the same thing :)
The swans are nicely rendered, but I think the foreground reflections, while interestring, are also distracting. The swans are the picture, and they should be emphasized through tighter cropping, IMHO.
