I got some comments on this being about marriage being the subject. Although it could mean that, my thoughts with this picture were not on that line. I was thinking more of how this is my nightmare about my wedding. A bride fears that her makeup will smear, she won't loose the weight in time, her hair will fall apart, and the pictures will come out horrible. :)

It was a bold choice to go this dark and a successful one, imho. There's an interesting ambiguity here as to whether this is a Zombie bride who wants to eat my brain or an all-too-human bride whose darkness is the fate she has just gotten herself into. She is literally disappearing into it as her tiara still glitters naively or perhaps even maliciously. Well done.
