I know that the usual question in the forums after a challenge is "Why did my shot do so badly?" I don't have that question this time. My question is why did this shot do so well?
Given your unusual twist on a common question, it may also be worth putting a twist on the common answer: it did not do all that well. 6.3 is a solid score, but it is not setting the sky on fire.

FWIW, I like the shot, but the anonymity of the figure does not work so well for me. Good effort on the bed, though!
It makes me smile imagining the actual set up for this wonderful photo. I bet it was lots of fun. The photo is impressive and creative and beautifully composed.
