 Taken at a local beach in Reykjavík.
I found this Cochlea and found it to be interesting subject linked to the sea.
Did some basic editing with curves and colors. Sharpened it in the end.
My expectations for this one is above 5,5 which is above average in my case.

It ended above 5.5 which is mission acomplished in this case. Hope next one will do better.

I really like this composition of this photo, but I don't like the lighting in the lower left hand of the picture. It also looks like the shell is out of focus and I think that is what you were trying to capture by your title. 5

The lighting seems odd - is it a flash other source? The shell would have been better in a sharper focus.
